CamCue is a desktop AI assistant for interviews, coding questions, quizzes, and calls. It can listen for spoken questions, analyze your entire screen, or read an area you select. Answers appear in your workspace and can be tailored with your CV, a job description, documents, and custom instructions.

Select lets you drag over the specific question or content you want help with. AI processing needs an internet connection and a CamCue account; you do not need your own API key.

Yes. In Interview or Coding Interview mode, add your CV and paste a job description or a public job link. You can also add custom instructions, choose the response language, and save your setup as a reusable context preset. Supported documents include PDF with selectable text, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, Markdown, CSV, and JSON. Some job pages cannot be imported; paste their text instead.

Yes. Choose “No call? Try a demo” in the app to practice with spoken questions and AI answers. The demo uses your context when provided, or a built-in example profile. You choose when to move to the next question. Demo sessions have a separate allowance shown in the app.

Download CamCue free and sign in to use the Free plan’s limited credits. PRO includes unlimited AI credits for Listen, Capture, and Select, with subscriptions at US$9 every 3 days, US$19 every week, US$69 every month. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Upgrade and manage billing in the app. Technical rate limits, session limits, and service availability still apply; checkout shows the final price and any taxes.

The current download supports Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or later) running macOS 14.2 or later. It is Developer ID signed and notarized by Apple. The current release does not include an Intel Mac installer. Windows is coming soon and is not available to download yet.

Listen transcribes speech on your Mac after a one-time speech-model download of about 575 MB. Raw Listen audio is not saved or uploaded. Recognized speech, text extracted locally from screen captures, and relevant document excerpts and context are sent through CamCue’s service to AI providers to generate answers. Session history is stored locally; account, usage, and technical records are processed by the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Stealth requests that supported capture apps exclude CamCue and keeps it out of the macOS Dock. It cannot guarantee invisibility in every recorder, meeting app, or macOS version. For Zoom, CamCue recommends Advanced capture with window filtering. Always check the receiving view from a second device before a call. Sharing a specific application window or an unshared display is another option.

Session history, documents, and context presets are stored locally. Signing into the same account on another Mac restores eligible PRO access, but does not sync your local workspace. Keep copies of important content before removing local data or changing computers.

Manage your subscription in the app’s account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal and normally keeps PRO active until your paid period ends. Uninstalling does not cancel billing. To use the 7-day money-back guarantee, email support@camcue.app within 7 days of the payment, including a renewal. Account deletion and subscription cancellation do not automatically request a refund.

Focus Mode turns the workspace into a compact, movable window with adjustable transparency, background blur, and its own dark theme setting. You can keep your answers near the camera, pin the window above other apps, and continue using Listen, Capture, and Select.
